The Academë Road; commonly called the ‘Road to Wisdom,’ this roadway is an important trade route running between the cities of Elsareth and Cymereth.
Many centuries ago, this route was called the "Eastvale Road," and was a simple trade route linking the early Vaas settlements that dotted the Eastvale region.
The road acquired its current name because of the Academë; the famed university established during the period of the Ravinian Empire. The route is still referred to as the "Road to Wisdom," because it was the historic route taken by scholars and magical apprentices during that time.
Today, the road is completely paved with pale blue gravel and is jointly maintained by the realms of Derianor and Erindar. It is in excellent condition.
Route of the Academë Road; from East to West:
- Road begins at Cymereth (Junction with Trader's Road)
- Cymereth to Athos-Avarel (Junction with the Axeway)
- Athos-Avarel to Irondale (goes thru both the Perdion and Narchion Valleys)
- Irondale to Berevrom's Keep (Crossing of Vryne River)
- Berevrom's Keep to Elsareth (Junction with High Road)
