Battle of Anley
(1011/6) Anley was the site of a battle between the kingdoms of Elyria and Serathyr during the War of the Fallen Crown
Elyria was aided by a large army from Rennsfar, and Serathyr was aided by a large army from Iskandar. The battle was very costly with three days of charges, counter-charges and a series of frenzied melees.
Neither side was able to achieve a victory, so the battle became a bloody stalemate, with over 30,000 slain on both sides.
However, the battle did bring the terrible War of the Fallen Crown to an end. Anley was the largest and bloodiest battle during that terrible conflict.
Anley is sometimes called the "Field of Three Fallen Crowns" because three separate monarchs were slain in this battle:
- King Durand of Serathyr
- King Corvin II of Elyria
- King Istavar III of Iskandar
