Duke Avery Trask

Avery Trask was a greedy, sycophantic nobleman from Erindar who ruled the Duchy of Relford under the reign of King Eduard Orsini.

Avery used his influence at court to falsely accuse Duke Harkon Halberon of the crime of royal tax evasion. These false charges were brought solely to undermine the House of Halberon and to ensure that House Avery of Daggerford would be granted their lands by royal decree.

These events sparked the bloody Halberon Uprising of 404/6.

Avery himself was later killed by Heremmer in the year 411/6, at the Battle of Cosgrove.
