The Verigos are one of Orel's oldest, wealthiest, and most influential noble families. For centuries, House Verigo has been a prominent member of the Oramar, exerting enormous influence at the royal court in Ordana.

If something tragic were to happen to King Lorien II, Lord Avon is considered most likely to claim the Gilded Throne. He is greatly feared for his political ruthlessness.
