King Berand Norax

King Berand was the first ruler of Marundi from the Norax Dynasty.

In the year 989/6, Berand, with much contriversy, succeeded King Morland Uzren II, after he was slain during a failed expedition to fight an evil force in the Northern Wastes. Since the king had no heirs, his tragic death ended his Dynasty.

The ancient and political powerful House of Norax hailed from the large Duchy of Damaris; located in southern Marundi, and Lord Berand was a member of King Morland's court. When the King died on his ill-fated expedition, Lord Berand returned with a death-bed proclamation naming him royal successor

Berand's descendants still rule Marundi today.
