King Berand Norax

King Berand was the first monarch of the Norax Dynasty of Marundi.

In the year 989/6, Berand succeeded King Morland Uzren II, after he was slain during a failed expedition to capture the arctic fortress of Sol-Kathad, ending his Dynasty.

The ancient and political powerful House of Norax hailed from the large Duchy of Damaris; located in southern Marundi, and Lord Berand was a member of King Morland's court. When the King died, Lord Berand soon maneuvered himself into position to claim the Bearclaw Throne for himself.

Berand's descendants still rule Marundi today.
