The Brevalds are descended from King Istavar, who assumed rulership in the year 674/6, after the death of King Ilathrin Novaro II during the Battle of Krell.
The House of Brevald has ruled the kingdom for 573 years and 19 rulers have sat upon the Onyx Throne at Castle Osprey.
