Castle Osprey

Located on a bluff overlooking the city of Wyn Falas, Castle Osprey is the royal citadel of Iskandar.

This ancient fortress was built by the Silvar-Elves in the early Second Age, and then abandoned when they sailed west across the Wyn Myr to the Unknown Lands. The castle was taken over by King Ilnavel after his 40,000 Iskari pilgrims traveled from Ikharos to escape the "Doom."

The castle has been expanded and rebuilt several times in its history. Within its Great Hall is the famous Onyx Throne.

Since it was taken over by King Ilnavel 3,137 years ago, this ancient fortress has been home to 131 different monarchs of Iskandar:

• 43 monarchs of the Cyrenäe Dynasty over 1,049 years
• 33 monarchs of the Blackburn Dynasty over 835 years
• 23 monarchs of the Shalcross Dynasty over 397 years
• 13 monarchs of the Novaro Dynasty over 283 years
• 19 monarchs of the Brevald Dynasty over the last 573 years
