Castle Redmark is a massive fortress, located within the Free City of Redmark.
This gigantic castle is nicknamed "The Grand Citadel," and is home to viscount Argus Theed; the ruler of the Freehold of Norwald. The stone walls and towers are flecked with bright red Hematite, which gave the castle and the city their famous names.
Built thousands of years ago as a bastion against the forces of evil, this fortress was once the citadel of the Circle of Eight.
The castle towers over the city, and is its most visible landmark. One reason that Castle Redmark is so magnificent is that it was partially constructed with the magical powers of the wizard Arcelor.
Today, the Castle is garrisoned by over 1,500 soldiers of the Freehold, and its serves as the headquarters for the Redmark City Watch as well, having offices and dungeons for the administration of city justice.
