Castle Redmond

Castle Redmond is a large fortress located in northern Iskandar, overlooking a narrow ford where the Tharnia Road crosses the Celenë River.

Castle Redmond was designed by the great Cynaran king; Narmacil Redmond, who oversaw its construction in the Year 1137 of the Third Age. The castle once served as the southern stronghold of Urland and guarded the foothills of the Crystalpeak Mountains.

During the Forty-Years War, the castle was commanded by Lord Rolf Redmond, and played an important role in that conflict.

Today, Castle Redmond is an important military outpost and remains the home of House of Redmond; a lasting legacy of the lost Cynaran kingdom of Urland.
