Battle of Darkwood

Darkwood; a small forest in the Vast, was the site of an important battle during the Wars of Destiny; fought between the forces of Redmark and Erin Fremantle

It was one of few battles where Erin Fremantle was defeated, and his defeat allowed Margrave Artemis Kilborne to later negotiate a successfully treaty with Erin and keep hthe city of Redmark fully independent.

After hostilities ended, Artemis of the House of Kilborne were appointed "Viscount of the Free City of Redmark"
