Djederet II; known as the "Phoenix Pharaoh," succeeded Hakotep as the ruler of Shorafa.

Pharaoh Djederet II was the nephew of Hakotep, and shortly after he ascended the Scarab Throne, he learned that a cult of fanatics had stolen several artifacts from his predecessor's tomb.

He immediately ordered the thieves hunted down and punished and recovered the stolen artifacts.

To prevent further thefts, Djederet created the Sacrosanct Order to protect and preserve the ancient tombs of the sacred Shorafi leaders.

Later in his reign, Djederet ordered a massive obelisk built in the city of An-Khara, which he dedicated to an earlier Pharaoh named Agzhad. Sages agree that Djederet admired Agzhad for his brilliant mind and love of learning.
