Dun-Tharos (Dwarf Gate)
Dun-Tharos; commonly called the "Dwarf Gate," is an incredibly strong, dwarven-built rampart of iron and stone that protects the northern entrance to the Ansilay Valley.
The rampart was built in the Fourth Age by the dwarves of Kronar to protect their realm against the orc-hordes of Alokkair.
When the city of Krone Feyr fell in 1087/4, the dwarves abandoned the gate. It lay in ruins for many centuries thereafter. It was later rebuilt and taken over by the men from the Freehold of Trevalia.
