The Avantis are one of the oldest noble families in Alveron, and are descended from Lord Cameron Avanti. Cameron was a close ally of King Myonen Alomir, and helped the monarch rebuild his shattered kingdom in the wake of the disastrous War of the Cataclysm.

Over the last 1,200 years, nearly two dozen members of this family have married into House Alomir. Today, the family is considered closest in succession to the Raven Throne.
