Edric is one of the Wildfolk; a tall, burly human, of ethnic Vaas descent, whose skin is deeply tanned. His arms and legs are firm and solid, obviously someone accustomed to a hard work. Piercing dark blue eyes gaze out from an angular face, with a beard of reddish blonde, which is split by a smile from full lips. Blue dye is tattooed around his left eye and expanding across the cheek in a stylized pattern of a hawk wing. The scars from burned flesh start at the top of his left cheek and spread down his neck. Long reddish blond hair is tied back in by a leather strap, dyed deep blue, with a hawk feather.

He dresses in leather armor, over a blue kilt, that is well cared for. A cloak made from the pelt of a bear is slung around his shoulders. A massive greatsword, in a scabbard, is strapped to his back with a shortbow in a leather holster. Leather and steel bracers protect his forearms. A quiver hangs from a belt at his waist on his right hip while a hand axe rides on his left hip. Sturdy leather boots, a dagger hilt protruding from the right boot, shod his feet with worn leather greaves covering the shins.

For years, Edric dwelt in Northern Erindar near the northern valleys of Crumbling Mountains. His clan migrated south from the Wildlands to the northern Erindar area about four generations ago, making a home in a small village on the shores of the frigid Nolar Vaas. He is the son of Hrothgar, grandson of Krilgar, and has an older brother Grimgor. Two other siblings died in goblin raids before he was born.

What has defined Edric as a person, and made his personality is his early life; one of harsh cruelty and hardship. A boisterous individual that is driven but rather by the need to prove himself the ultimate warrior. He trains with a vengeance and will accept challenges that allow him to prove his mettle. Honor is important to him. Attempts to intimidate others into getting what he wants. Has a long memory for grudges, especially the memory of what happenned ot his family and his village as a young man. There was a terrible goblin raid and many of his people died. Edric alone escaped, wandering alone in the wilderness for many months. It wasn't until he met Dorn; who was also wandering the same wilderness, that he had any companionship.

Later the two met up with Demexas and Erique and traveled together to Chelstad to meet with a mysterious wizard named Godrenn.
