Falls of Herthmar
Herthmar is the largest waterfall on the continent of Corwyn, located in the southwestern corner of Ammarind, southeast of the city of Amara.
As the Amari River goes over the falls, it forms a small lake. After the falls, the Amari River splits; its main branch continues east, while a second branch becomes the Thryme River.
The Falls are the infamous location where, in 625/5, King Elrovar Myrnäe III threw the Orenthir into the waters to prevent its capture by the Zûl. The falls are located only a few miles east of the ruins of Erôn-Durath.
The Falls of Herthmar also form the eastern boundary of the famous Amar Gap.
