Gulf of Alesard

The Gulf of Alesard is a deep basin which feeds into the Sea of Orel.

At the northern mouth of the Gulf is the Orellian city of Ormath, and deeper within its recesses is the smaller city of Olthad.

The Gulf is strategically important because it is home to several Orellian naval bases and construction yards, all impervious to enemy attack and nature’s fury.

Near the city of Ormath are dozens of small inlets and shallow natural harbors that serve as the home to the enormous shipbuilding empire of Orel.

The Gulf is named for Rygar Alesard; the founder and first King of Orel.
