Emperor Hamid Kharata

Hamid Kharata was the twenty-eighth ruler of the Eloysian Empire, who reigned on the Jade Throne between the years AR 425 and AR 455.

During his reign, Emperor Hamid unsuccessfully besieged the Republic of Kendar for ten years, which ended in defeat and cost the empire many thousands of lives. Sages say, the emperor learned the lesson of the impregnability of Ironspike "the hard way."

Emperor Hamid was wise enough that after a decade of futile attacks and warfare, in the year AR 435, he chose to enter into a peace treaty with the peoples of Kendar, and the Eloysian Empire never again tried to conquer the republic.
