Battle of Harmswood

Harmswood was the site of a battle in 1089/6, between an alliance of Alveron and Gwynne that ended the War of Three Kings.

During this ferocious battle, the Gwynnish army was routed on the field, losing more than 10,000 killed. The night after the battle, King Gregor Eridani II was murdered by members of his own family who wanted to end the war and stop the king's madness. Soon after, King Galen; the "Boy-King" assumed the Crimson Throne.
