Battle of Harmswood

(1089/6) Harmswood was the site of a fierce, bloody battle which ended the War of Three Kings.

This ferocious battle was fought between an alliance of Alveron and Orel against the armies of Gwynne. The Gwynnish army was routed on the battlefield, losing more than 10,000 killed.

The night after the battle, King Gregor Eridani II was murdered by members of his own family who wanted to end the war and stop the king's madness. Soon after, King Galen; the "Boy-King" assumed the Crimson Throne and a peace treaty was signed between the three kingdoms.
