The Hinterlands
The Hinterlands are a rural region of northern Iskandar.
This region is sparsely populated, with few major human settlements. In fact, the largest human settlement in this region is the town of Sandpoint, which has a population of only 1,200 people.
Because of its distance from Wyn Falas, this region is largely left to its own devices by the Royal Court.
Since there are no major military garrisons nearby, safety for the local population is provided by the Black Arrow Company, based out of Castle Rannick.
