House of Elyr

The House of Elyr is an ancient and powerful Vaas family. Thousands of years ago, the family ruled over the city of Galador, located between the Purple Mountains and the northern coast of the Sea of Alyr. Although, they were eventually driven out by Ralani invaders, the family held onto much of its wealth and eventually re-settled in the city of Rilsavar.

Queen Elwyn Fremantle was born to this family, and the Kingdom of Elyria derives its name from her name.
