(Reign: 525-547/4†) Ilathrin Cyrenäe II was a powerful ruler of Iskandar and the 19th monarch from his Dynasty.
In the year 536/4, Ilathrin negotiated the infamous Iron Treaty with Lord Cochran Pike over territory rights to part of the Highlands, sparking over two centuries of violence and misery.
The treaty led directly to hostilities with King Ethelred Madrigal of Karthis; who, in the year 537/4, ordered a series of military raids against the Iskari colonists, which culminated in the Battle of Crecy and the death of the Iskari Crown Prince; Idris.
In 537/4, Ilathrin ordered an invasion of the Eastvale to avenge the murder of his son. Thus began the horrific Karthic Wars.
King Ilathrin himself was later slain in the year 547/4 fighting the Vaas at the battle of Mudd River.
Ilathrin's daughter Isobel; succeeded him on the Onyx Throne and become a great ruler in her own right.
