Ilnavel Brevald was the ruler of Iskandar in the year 1008/6, when the War of the Fallen Crown began.

He made a treaty with king Durand of Serathyr and made war upon Elyria, invading from across the Iron Sea. In desperation, the Elyrian King Corvin II, begged Rennsfar to enter the war, and King Aradan II soon sent a large army to defend Elyrian territory. Not long after, King Ilnavel was slain during a skirmish with Rennsfari troops in 1009/6.

King Ilnavel was the eleventh monarch of his line. He was succeeded by his son Istavar III.
