(population: 7,200) Located on the eastern shores of Vesarivon Island, Ilsaron is a small seaport with a mixed elven and human population.
The city is crucially important because it is the only point of entry into Antharë; the secluded enclave of the Grey-Elves. Here, all manner of exotic elvish goods are exported across the world, and that trade has made the city quite wealthy.
Access to the Island of Vesarivon
It is well-known that the only safe passage onto Vesarivon Isle is via the port. Powerful elven magic controls strong tides and winds, which will dash any approaching ship against the rocks if it comes near the coastline without permission. The only allowable route is the narrow channel which leads to Ilsaron's harobr.
From Ilsaron, there is a road which leads deep into the Vesarivon Forest and the elven capitol of Starfall.
Despite these risks, there is a brisk trade with ships hailing from Iskandar, Rennsfar, and Serathyr.
