Kagyar is the son of Al-Karym; the God of Death and the father of Karaash; the God of Hatred and Tarastia; the Goddess of Vengeance. Kagyar is the master of all that is old and decrepit in the world. As such, he is also the Patron-Deity of desolation, disease, illness, famine, hunger, and desolate lands without life or vegetation, such as deserts and tundra.
His symbol is a great pile of Dust, made from his own ashes and detritus, after his physical mortal form died on Corwyn. Kagyar is an uncaring God, and his followers keep to themselves, and worship the beauty of decay. His followers wear filthy brown robes to represent the desolate and decayed realm of their master, and are usually disease-ridden folk, such as lepers and other outcasts.
Kagyar’s followers erect few temples, and the ones in existence are in a terrible state of disrepair. His main temple is located in the city of Sarkosa. Kagyar’s chief rival is the lawful God Karmalok.
