Kholis

(population: 19,000) Located on the eastern shores of the Thannish Estuary, Kholis is the third largest Gwynnish city.

Kholis is a major seaport, but also benefits from frequent caravans travelling along the Stoneway, which runs east to the capital of Ashara.

Because of its location near the border with Orel, the city trades heavily with the Orellian city of Stormhaven, which is located on the western side of the Estuary. Every day, dozens of ferries carry both travelers and goods across.

Due to Gwynne's long and bloody history, Kholis is heavily fortified with strong walls and a large military garrison.

Today, the city is governed by Baroness Dagmar Erisko.
