Khûrloth Marshes
The Khûrloth Marshes are the largest swampland region located in eastern Corwyn.
The northern and eastern borders of the Khûrloth Marshes is the Mortai Valley, its southern borders are the foothills of the Frostcrown Mountains, and its western border is the Saugreth-Muir Mountains.
The marshlands are treacherous and infested with foul Lizardfolk, under the sway of Sorimmar.
The region is also home to many tribes of the Ashanti barbarians, an ancient and fierce people, who dwell in small secluded communities, located high off the ground, at treetop level.
These elevated structures protect them from marauding bands of lizard-men and orcs.
