Knorr is Corwyn’s God of Fear and Madness.

Knorr is the son of Ilsundal; the Goddess of Jealousy, and a mortal man. Knorr is a member of the final generation of deities on Corwyn, and has great influence over mortals as a result. Knorr is the master of all fear in the world. As such, he is also the Patron-Deity of fear, anxiety, doubt, and uncertainty.

His symbol is a great silver Mirror, made from the shattered glass of all opportunities in the world. Knorr is a sadistic and cunning God, and his followers can be a dangerous foe, using fear, suspicion, and their enemy’s weaknesses against them. His followers wear pale grey robes to represent the deep seated fear, that is realm of their master, and are usually rural priests, and assassins.

Knorr’s followers erect no temples as that would be against the natural order, but worship in dark chilling places deep within cities or dark forests where fear can surround them. The only known temple to Knorr is located in the city of Sarkosa. Knorr’s chief rival is the lawful God Acerion.
