Krakenmoor Academy is a famous independent school of Wizardry, located within the Free City of Redmark.

The Academy is unique because it is the only Wizard's Guild on Corwyn which operates outside of the authority of the Veiled Society, and does not submit to its authority. This independence is protected by the laws of the Free City, which places few restrictions on the use of magic as is commonplace in most other realms.

The Academy is famous for its central building; a gigantic glass pyramid that towers over the Clerical District, and its infamous headmaster; Manzorian.
