Krakenmoor Academy is a famous independent school of Wizardry, located within the Free City of Redmark.

The Academy is unique because it is the only wizard guild on Corwyn which operates outside of the authority of the Veiled Society, and does not submit to its guidance.

This independence is protected by the laws of the Free City, which forbid the Veiled Society from controlling the use of magic as they do in most other realms on Corwyn.

The Academy is famous for its central building; a gigantic glass pyramid that towers over the Clerical District of Redmark.
