Kratheri Peninsula

The Kratheri Peninsula stretches south from the main body of eastern Corwyn, below the Torak Mountains, and is essentially a giant finger-shaped strip of land, dividing the Sea of Orel from the Vhan Myr.

Named for the ancient Kratheri civilization that dwelt here long ago, the region is lush, green, and fertile, with grasslands, rolling hills, and many lush forests. The peninsula is now home to a great Thannish civilization of the East known as the realm of Thûle. Unfortunately, the realm is dark and evil, and the Thannish and enslaved Kratheri people of this region live in fear and oppression.

Long ago, this peninsula was populated by the Kratheri peoples of the ancient kingdom of Kerathos. That kingdom was destroyed, and its people enslaved by Thannish invaders from Eldara. This invasion was known as the Glorious Conquest, and resulted in the present-day nation of Thûle.
