Larissa Vanderboren was the mother of Lavinia Vanderboren. She died in a tragic fire, not long ago.

Larissa Iomundi was a sailor and adventurer hailing from Sasserine, who participated in an expedition to the Isle of Dread many years ago. She was so enthralled by the island, she was determined to return.

Larissa eventually married Verik Vanderboren, and together, they organized a second expedition to the island, which led to the establishment of the colony called "Farshore."

Larissa and Verik later had two children: Lavinia and Vanthus.
