Malachite Road

The Malachite Road is a well-maintained trade route that traverses the Rockdale Region of Azoria.

The road was built by the Kendari centuries ago, by cutting a path through the dense Sanjaara Jungle.

The Malachite Road runs southwest from Castle Ironspike to the large town of Kingfisher Hollow, then continues west to the city of Caldera.

The roadway is paved with dark green malachite stones, which glitter like green glass bricks.

The Malachite Road is considered hazardous to travelers because of raids from bandits, gnolls, and tasloi.

Today, even though the road is patrolled by Kendari soldiers, most merchants still travel in large, heavily armed caravans. Single travelers are at the highest risk of meeting a dark fate upon the road.
