Marcus Ezrin is a minor Thannish aristocrat from Ashara, who serves as Captain of the Sable Company. Marcus is close friends with Seneschal Neolandus Dhoru.

Long ago, the Ezrins were one of the wealthiest and most powerful families in Ashara, but over the last century, their influence has been in sharp decline. The family once owned Ezrin Isle, but lost their hold on that territory years ago.

Today, the family has little political influence, and its scions have instead served the kingdom as distiguished military officers.

Marcus' father and grandfather held prestigous posts in the Gwynnish army, and Captain Ezrin has continued that tradition.
