Mord Vorheis "Mord the Sword"

Mord Vorheis; commonly known as "Mord the Sword," was the grandson of Martog the Wise and a powerful a dwarvish war-chief from Kharos-Thûngol.

Mord led an army of Red-Dwarves at the Battle of Orgorod. His nickname came from the fact that he was literally one with his weapon, and was never defeated in battle.

In recognition of Mord's bravery and the sacrifice of his fallen Dwarvish warriors, the Council of Sorcerë later bestowed one of the five Val-Khûra stones on the Dwarven nation of Kharos-Thûngol.
