The Novaro Dynasty was a line of Iskari rulers descended from King Iscar, who assumed rulership of Iskandar in the year 392/6, after King Irovar Shalcross II abdicated the throne and sailed from Corwyn to Ikharos in search of the lost Iskari Empire.
The House of Novaro ruled Iskandar for 283 years and thirteen monarchs sat upon the Onyx Throne at Castle Osprey. The Dynasty ended in 674/6, when King Ilathrin II was slain during the Battle of Krell and was succeeded by King Istavar Brevald.
