The Plague of Madness was a terrible plague unreleased on Shorafa by Nimbori agents in the year 407/4.

The Plague of Madness was created by the Usiji Cult, who then worked with Nimbori agents to spread into the unsuspecting population.

Both the Cultists and Nimbor had their own reasons for vengeance upon Shorafa.

The Nimbori desired revenge for the earlier Night Plague, unleashed on them centuries earlier on the orders of Pharaoh Setirah.

The Usiji Cult desired revenge against the Pharaohs for the betrayal and murder of Ahriman, and the group's exile into the Sea of Sand.
