(Population: 1,200) Sandpoint is a large town located along the Lost Coast of Westvale Island, which also serves as the capitol of a small Barony of the same name.

Eighty leagues north of the capital city of Wyn Falas, on the Lost Coast Road of Cyrendar, is the large town of Sandpoint. Although the town is located within the Kingdom of Cyrendar, its remote location within a rural region known as the Hinterlands means that the town is largely left to its own devices.

Sandpoint is currently governed ruled by a local noble named Baroness Kendra Deveran. The town lies along the Lost Coast of the Wyn Myr, in the shadow of an ancient ruin known by locals as the "Old Light." (the only "landmark" the town has to offer!)

Today, Sandpoint is a small, but thriving community, with wealth derived from the following trades: fishing, lumber, farming, brewing, shipbuilding, tanning, and glass-making. Luckily, for most of its history, Sandpoint has been free of disasters. Apart from the occasional goblin raid, or severe storm, the town is quiet.

Sandpoint has faced many hardships but also great prosperity in its 250 year history. A small town on the Wyn Myr Coast, fishermen, farmers, and other simple folk make the community one of the rare truly peaceful havens in Cyrendar. Yet, while the townsfolk have known dark times in the recent past, a new shadow has begun to loom over the unsuspecting town.

The Town:
Sandpoint is a simple, relatively peaceful coastal town with all the color and common oddities one expects from a tightly-knit community, Sandpoint sits at a point on the Wyn Myr Coast halfway between the large cities of Krylnath and Wyn Falas. Wood buildings and cluttered docks line the town’s natural harbor, while farms and the manors of wealthy citizens dot the surrounding countryside. During the day, fishing, farming, lumbering, glass-making, and shipbuilding occupy most of the townsfolk, who commonly retire to their homes by way of Sandpoint’s many taverns. Sandpoint’s only landmark is the 'Old Light,' a lighthouse of ancient origins that lies in ruins.
