Second Plague of Adar

Second terrible series of diseases unleashed on the West in 1142/4 by the Lich-King Alokkair. The outbreaks were finally countered by the Council of Sorcerë, but tens of thousands had already died, as well as much valuable livestock. Even those poor souls who survived the sickness died from hunger as crops and food animals were quickly wiped out in droves.
