Shua is the daughter of Nyjev; the Goddess of Love, who gave birth to her after marrying a mortal man. Shua is one of the last generations of Gods, whose lineage is mixed with mortals, giving her enormous powers over the race of men, but little celestial powers compared to the other Malkar. Shua is the mistress of all peaceful folk in the world. As such, she is also the Matron-Deity of purity, virtue, order, and friendship.
Her symbol is a great Fountain, from which the purest water can be found in the world of Corwyn. Shua is a benevolent Goddess, and her followers share her ideals of peace and purity, living virtuous lives.
Shua's followers wear light blue robes to represent the symbol of purity of their mistress, and are usually priests, rangers, and paladins. Shua’s followers have erected many temples to the cause of virtue and peace, and worship throughout the realms freely. Her greatest temple is located in the city of Elsareth on the Avenue of Deities. Shua’s chief rival is the chaotic God Akhmahra.
