Battle of Shult

(491/6) Shult was the site of a fierce naval engagement fought between the navies of Thûle and Orel which took place during the War of Storms.

The two fleets came together off the island of Shult, and in the midst of the battle, a terrific gale swept through the area, completely destroying the Thûlian fleet and much of the Orellian fleet as well.

To this day, the rotting wrecks of over 100 warships can be found in the churning surf on the Bay of Shult, for which the battle is named. The Orellian king Agathar Xantheras II was lost at sea during this battle and succeeded by King Byron Zheren.
