Silvanestri

Silvanestri is the language of the elves of Corwyn.

The elvish language has many dialects and variations, and some parts of it were incorporated into the speech of early men in the Third Age. A derivative form of this language was spoken at the Imperial Court of the Ravinian Empire during the Fifth Age, and some western nobles still use it as high speech, calling it the Old Tongue. It is commonly used by the elves of the High-Elves of Melinarë, the Grey-Elves of Antharë, and the Wood-Elves found in every forest on Corwyn. Because of the age of the language, many artifacts and ancient buildings are named in this language.
