The Staff of Karmalok is a holy relic, an ancient artifact, and the symbol of the God of Nature.

The staff is said by Karmalok’s followers to have been made from the first tree planted in the world of Corwyn. The great staff is said to have the power to control any plant or animal anywhere in the world, and to change the shape of any living organism. Its location is a mystery, and many believe the staff never existed at all, and was merely an enormous tree that was worshipped by the ancient followers of the Nature God.

The "Staff" is also the name of the constellation in which the Karmalok’s star is centrally located.
