Third Alliance

The Third Alliance was a treaty formed during the Fifth Age between the races of men, elves, and dwarves, to defeat Sorimmar at the time of the War of the Cataclysm.

The alliance was short-lived, and was disbanded in 625/5, soon after the Battle of Harkalad. The alliance was considered a failure, in that Sorimmar was defeated and forced back into the East, but the West was ravaged, the Empress slain, and the Ravinian Empire destroyed.
