Unthera; which means "dark-trees" in elvish, are a race of intelligent and evil treants on Corwyn.

The Unthera worked with Alokkair to destroy the Wood-Elf forest realm of Thekarë, so they could then dominate the region. Under their evil control, the great forest of Silvarwood became a forbidding place of dread called Mystwood.
