Vaas Landing

(population: 8,000) Vaas Landing is an important, mixed human and dwarvish community, located on the Frozen Coast of the Sea of Vaas.

The town is located at the mouth of the Foam River, and is protected by stout timber walls and iron gates, because of the threat from Variags.

Traders from the dwarvish realm of Orrek ply their wares here with men of the northern kingdom of Derianor, the wild lands of the Nolar Valley, and merchants from the kingdoms of Iskandar and Derianor.

The town is also called ‘Kholar Vaas’ by the dwarves, which has the same meaning in the Khurlish tongue. Today, Vaas Landing is ruled by a council from the local Merchants’ Guild.
