Varda

The Varda are one of the nine Vaas Clans of the Highlands.

The Varda people originated from the northern foothills of the Purple Mountains. Sometimes called "Mountain-Men," the Varda were arrogant and proud. This pride sometimes blinded them and made their decisions rather fool-hardy.

The Varda founded the ancient city-state of Karthis, which was ruled for centuries by the proud and sometimes foolhardy House of Madrigal.
