Variags

Variags are ethnic Sköda tribes who have raided the Frozen Coast of Corwyn for centuries.

Using their famous Dragon-ships, Variags have attacked settlements of Ammarind, Iskandar, Derianor, Marundi, Orrek, and the Barrens. Most of these barbarian tribes hail from the Thalar Islands and, for centuries, their bands of raiders have plagued towns and villages all along the northern coasts of the Myr Thalal, Dragon Sound, and the Sea of Vaas.

The Variags' preferred vessels are sleek long-ships; with great dragons carved on the prows. These "dragon-ships," and their masters, are greatly feared by folk who live near the Frozen Coast of Corwyn.
