King Vorlag Velenkhür "the Venerable"

Vorlag Velenkhür; known as "the Venerable," was a famous Dwarven King of Azkar, who was slain at the Battle of Orgorod.

Vorlag was the eighth ruler of Azkar, from the Velenkhür Clan.

When Alokkair began the Gauth War and attempted to overthrow the Council of Sorcerë, Vorlag answered their desperate call for aid.

In the year 252/3, He marched from Darôk with a large dwarven army, and fought heroically against Alokkair's Gauth and orc-hordes at the Battle of Orgorod. Sadly, he was slain on the field of battle.

In recognition of the sacrifice made by Vorlag and his Dwarvish warriors, the Saar later bestowed Azkar with one of the five Val-Khûra stones.

Vorlag was succeeded on the Anvil Throne by his son, Vholnir.
