War of the Saltmarsh
(663-668/6) The War of the Saltmarsh was a long and bloody conflict between the kingdom of Serathyr and the Corsairs of Tar Vielca.
This invasion was prompted by Sorimmar to draw off strength from the south, as he was planning on invading the West a few years later. The Corsairs of Tar Vielca were finally driven from Corwyn at the Battle of Sedgebrook, but Serathian King Ketharon Serati was slain, and succeeded by King Atanamir Sinclair.
