The War of Blood and Salt was a conflict between the city-state of Freeport and the Republic of Kendar.

The war resulted in the independence of Freeport, after the climactic Battle of Jaxia.

Conflict was famous for the use of "Privateers;" independent raider vessels which plagued Kendari shipping on the Shining Sea.
