Winter Council

The Winter Council; or "Tel-Sinyarin" in elvish, is an ancient Wizard's council which has long advised the Elven Royal Courts in both Highforest and Starfall.

The Winter Council traces its origins back to the forgotten days of the First Age, and the time of Ectharë, when it served to advise the Elven-Kings of old.

For unknown reasons, a rival sect of elven wizards known as the Synfari, convinced King Ismelian Alessarë to disband the Winter Council during the War of Wrath, but it was later re-formed.
